Model Usage
Model Usage gives you visibility into how much you're using each AI model, what it's costing, and how your consumption trends over time.
What You Can Do
- View total message counts per model
- See token usage and estimated costs
- Compare model usage across time periods
- Identify which tasks use the most resources
- Set usage alerts and limits

Setup
No configuration needed — Model Usage is built into Clawly.
- Go to your Clawly Dashboard
- Find Model Usage in the Skills section
- Toggle it on
- Ask Clawly about your usage at any time
How It Works
- Tracking — Every message logs the model used and token counts
- Aggregation — Usage is summarized by model, time period, and type
- Reporting — Ask Clawly for a usage summary in natural language
Tips
- Check before billing — Ask for your monthly usage before the billing cycle ends
- Optimize model choice — If costs are high, ask Clawly to suggest a more efficient model for routine tasks
- Set expectations — Long context tasks (large documents) cost more per message
