How It Works

When you ask Clawly to create LinkedIn content:

  1. Profile access — Retrieves your LinkedIn profile info
  2. Content creation — Drafts professional, engaging posts
  3. Formatting — Adds line breaks and structure for readability
  4. Posting — Publishes via the UGC Posts API

Tips

  • Post length — LinkedIn favors longer posts (1,300 characters ideal)
  • Line breaks — Use short paragraphs for readability
  • Hooks — Start with an attention-grabbing first line
  • Hashtags — Use 3-5 relevant hashtags at the end
  • Engagement — Ask questions to encourage comments
  • Timing — Best times: Tuesday-Thursday, 8-10am or 12pm

Content Formats

  • Text posts — Thought leadership, stories, insights
  • Document posts — Carousels, PDFs (high engagement)
  • Articles — Long-form content
  • Polls — Quick engagement boosters

Requirements

  • LinkedIn Developer App — Free to create
  • App Review — Required for production access
  • Permissions: w_member_social for posting

Limitations

  • Access tokens expire after 60 days
  • App review process can take time
  • Some features require LinkedIn Marketing API approval
