Search & Gather

Search & Gather is a built-in Clawly skill that combines multiple search sources to find, collect, and organize information for you. No API key required.

What You Can Do

• Search across multiple sources simultaneously
• Collect and organize information from various places
• Summarize findings into structured reports
• Track topics and monitor updates
• Aggregate data for research and analysis

Example Commands

"Gather information about the top CRM tools on the market"

"Search and compile a list of SaaS pricing models"

"Find and organize all information about our competitors"

"Research the history of machine learning and give me a summary"

"Gather recent news about interest rates"

How It Works

1. Multi-source search — Queries multiple search engines and sources
2. Content extraction — Pulls relevant text from each result
3. Deduplication — Removes redundant or overlapping content
4. Synthesis — Organizes findings into a structured, readable format

Setup

No configuration needed — Search & Gather is enabled by default.

1. Go to your Clawly Dashboard
2. Find Search & Gather in the Skills section
3. Toggle it on
4. Start asking research questions

Tips

• Be specific — "Gather competitor pricing for B2B CRM tools under $50/month" returns better results than "find CRM info"
• Ask for structure — Request bullet points, tables, or a summary format
• Combine with Deep Research — For more thorough investigation, use the Deep Research skill
