Setup
1. Create a Cal.com Account
- Sign up at cal.com
- Set up your availability preferences
- Create at least one event type (e.g., "30 min meeting")
2. Get Your API Key
- Go to Settings > Developer > API Keys
- Click Create new API key
- Give it a name like "Clawly"
- Copy the generated key
3. Add to Clawly
- Go to your Clawly Dashboard
- Find the Cal.com skill
- Click Configure
- Paste your Cal.com API Key
- Click Save
How It Works
When you ask Clawly to schedule a meeting:
- Checks availability - Looks at your Cal.com calendar
- Finds slots - Identifies available times
- Creates booking - Books the meeting
- Sends invites - Attendees receive calendar invitations
- Confirms - You get confirmation of the booking
Tips
- Specify timezone - "Schedule for 2pm EST" helps avoid confusion
- Include attendee email - Required for sending invites
- Set up event types first - Create templates in Cal.com for common meetings
- Buffer time - Cal.com can automatically add buffer between meetings
