Setup

1. Create a HubSpot Account

  1. Sign up at hubspot.com (free CRM available)
  2. Set up your pipeline stages
  3. Import existing contacts if needed

2. Get Your API Key

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Private Apps
  2. Click Create a private app
  3. Name it "Clawly"
  4. Select scopes: crm.objects.contacts, crm.objects.deals, crm.objects.companies
  5. Create and copy the token

3. Add to Clawly

  1. Go to your Clawly Dashboard
  2. Find the HubSpot CRM skill
  3. Click Configure
  4. Paste your HubSpot Private App Token
  5. Click Save

Pipeline Stages

Clawly understands common pipeline stages:

  1. Lead - Initial contact
  2. Qualified - Good fit, interested
  3. Proposal - Sent proposal/quote
  4. Negotiation - Discussing terms
  5. Closed Won - Deal completed
  6. Closed Lost - Did not proceed

How It Works

Adding Contacts

When you say "add John from Acme Corp":

  1. Creates contact with name and company
  2. Links to existing company or creates new one
  3. Adds any additional info you provide

Tracking Deals

When you say "create a deal for Acme website project":

  1. Creates deal with name and value
  2. Associates with contact/company
  3. Sets initial pipeline stage

Logging Notes

When you say "log a note about my call with John":

  1. Creates note with your content
  2. Attaches to the contact
  3. Timestamps for history

Tips

  • Log every interaction - Calls, emails, meetings
  • Update deal stages promptly - Keep pipeline accurate
  • Set follow-up reminders - Never forget a lead
