Setup
1. Get a Todoist API Token
- Log in to todoist.com
- Click your profile picture → Settings
- Go to the Integrations tab
- Scroll to API token
- Copy your token
2. Add to Clawly
- Go to your Clawly Dashboard
- Find the Todoist skill
- Click Configure
- Paste your Todoist API Token
- Click Save
How It Works
When you ask Clawly to manage Todoist:
- Authentication — Uses your API token to access your account
- Action — Creates, updates, or retrieves tasks via the Todoist API
- Confirmation — Returns confirmation or a list of results
Tips
- Set a default project — Configure a default so Clawly knows where to add tasks without specifying
- Use priorities — "P1," "P2," "high priority," or "urgent" map to Todoist priority levels
- Natural dates — "Due next Thursday" or "every Monday" works for scheduling
