Setup

1. Get a Todoist API Token

  1. Log in to todoist.com
  2. Click your profile pictureSettings
  3. Go to the Integrations tab
  4. Scroll to API token
  5. Copy your token

2. Add to Clawly

  1. Go to your Clawly Dashboard
  2. Find the Todoist skill
  3. Click Configure
  4. Paste your Todoist API Token
  5. Click Save

How It Works

When you ask Clawly to manage Todoist:

  1. Authentication — Uses your API token to access your account
  2. Action — Creates, updates, or retrieves tasks via the Todoist API
  3. Confirmation — Returns confirmation or a list of results

Tips

  • Set a default project — Configure a default so Clawly knows where to add tasks without specifying
  • Use priorities — "P1," "P2," "high priority," or "urgent" map to Todoist priority levels
  • Natural dates — "Due next Thursday" or "every Monday" works for scheduling
