Setup
1. Create a DocuSign Account
- Sign up at docusign.com
- Upload your common contract templates
- Set up your signature
2. Get API Credentials
- Go to developers.docusign.com
- Create a developer account
- Create an integration key
- Note your Account ID
3. Add to Clawly
- Go to your Clawly Dashboard
- Find the Contracts skill
- Click Configure
- Enter your DocuSign API Key and Account ID
- Click Save
Contract Status
Clawly tracks these statuses:
- Sent - Waiting for signatures
- Delivered - Opened by recipient
- Completed - All signatures collected
- Declined - Signer declined to sign
- Voided - Cancelled by sender
How It Works
When you send a contract:
- Upload - Document is uploaded to DocuSign
- Configure - Signature fields are added
- Send - Recipient receives email with signing link
- Sign - They sign electronically
- Complete - Both parties get signed copies
Tips
- Clear subject lines - "Please sign: Project Agreement - Acme Corp"
- Set deadlines - Add expiration dates for urgency
- Follow up - Send reminders after 3-5 days
- Verify emails - Double-check signer email addresses
