Setup
1. Create a QuickBooks Account
- Sign up at quickbooks.intuit.com
- Set up your company profile
- Configure your expense categories
2. Get API Credentials
- Go to developer.intuit.com
- Create a new app
- Get your OAuth credentials
- Note your Company ID (Realm ID)
3. Add to Clawly
- Go to your Clawly Dashboard
- Find the Expenses skill
- Click Configure
- Enter your QuickBooks API Key and Realm ID
- Click Save

Clawly recognizes common expense categories:
- Office Supplies - Paper, pens, desk items
- Software & Subscriptions - SaaS tools, apps
- Travel & Transportation - Flights, rideshare, parking
- Meals & Entertainment - Client dinners, team lunches

How It Works
When you log an expense:
- Record - Creates expense entry in QuickBooks
- Categorize - Assigns to appropriate category
- Track - Links to project/client if specified
- Report - Available in your expense reports
Tips
- Log immediately - Don't wait until month-end
- Be specific - "Adobe Creative Cloud - Jan 2024" not just "software"
- Assign categories - Makes tax time much easier
- Keep receipts - Mention if you have a receipt to upload later
