PDF Tools lets Clawly process PDF documents — extract text, summarize content, answer questions, and pull out specific information from any PDF.

What You Can Do

Setup

No configuration needed — PDF Tools is built into Clawly.

1. Go to your Clawly Dashboard
2. Find PDF Tools in the Skills section
3. Toggle it on
4. Share PDF files in your conversations

How It Works

1. Upload — Attach a PDF to your message
2. Extraction — Clawly reads and parses the document text
3. Processing — Answers your question or performs the requested action
4. Response — Returns the extracted content or summary

Tips

• Ask specific questions — "What are the termination clauses?" beats "tell me about this contract"
• Reference pages — "What does page 5 say about..." for long documents
• Request formats — "Extract as a bullet list" or "give me the numbers in a table"
